I did this for all the kids returning to school - high school especially. Please remember kindness..... there are some kids that feel like they just never fit in. Reach out to some of them - you might be pleasantly surprised.

Great models! I like how you create a story with their poses and add your own creative touch.

Having been one of those kids, I really relate to the piece however, I wonder if perhaps the suggestion of being willing to give too much to fit in (The pose of the model implies much), may be a negative in this peice... Respect for self often earns respect from others. You have a talent for provoking an emotional response in your work... Strong emotions. I like what I see but the tears aren't far from the surface. Nicely done....

thank you... yes.. I do see the undertone -- and I'm glad you addressed it.
I think maybe on some subconscious level - and maybe a tad conscious - I wanted to suggest this - because at least for me, it causes a bit of a knee/jerk to the image -- as if - "Don't give yourself away.... "

thank you

Claudia

I am currently raising my brood of five kids, one boy and four girls, my son just turned ten... Junior High really tore me to shreds...Luckily I my parents did a good job in teaching me the difference between real love and real friendships and the pseudo relationships that seem to be so prevalent at this age... I can only hope to do the same for my little ones... Thanks for the reminder...

:)
I have four - two boys two girls -- I home schooled my eldest (almost 19) all the way through - it was an answer to prayers..
I had my boys in school for a couple of years - but now back to homeschool - and we are LOVING it..
they are learning better, retaining more - and we just are having so much fun....
School can be a great experience - but it can also be so scary.
Trust me, I know.

Love,

Claudia

I know a lot of homeschooling moms and I really admire all of you. I have been seriously considering it however our financial situation has been requiring me to work full time...
Congrats on your ability to do so and the success of your book cover images!
