I love how you can see the ripples of the surface of the water, & how the rays of the sun light penetrate through the water itself. I find the section where she's holding the flower the prittiest, because the way the water seems more bubbly & I like how the sun highlights her arm & the flowers petals. The soft ripples of the dress make her look more elegant The more I look at the details of this pic the more I like it n_n
There is something about the dress that makes me think of the jellyfish and I thought that was really cool because it keeps to the theme of gracefulness in the of the underwater/sea/ocean concept. I've always been fascinated with water *u* And I really like ballerina and hey Ballet is a very, very graceful dance too. Again, this emphasizes the gracefulness of the picture. The whole image portrays the word 'graceful'. I don't need a dictionary anymore xD
I think this is also my favorite Haiku from yours so far. (But this is my biased opinion due to my fascination to the element of Water).
At first I found the pose to be a little bit awkward. Because I couldn't tell if she was going to break the surface or is diving down. But I think she is going to break the surface. I really like the movement that is going on. Because if she is going to break the surface it feels as though she has 'fully bloomed' and we are all lucky to see what it looks like moments before she broke the surface. Water lotus after all have their petals and leaves floating on the surface tension while their stems mostly are at the bottom.
